Heritage Magazine Editor Receives an Award

Steve Cliffe, editor/publisher of the long running Stockport Heritage Magazine has been awarded a Community Hero Award by Stockport Council for-


Services to journalism starting with the Stockport Advertiser. 
Helping found Stockport Heritage Trust.
Leading the Heritage Group's campaign to save Staircase House and convert it to a museum.
Running the Heritage Magazine for over 30 years.
Helping to open a Heritage Centre in St Mary's Church.

Stockport Dungeon Opening Times



Stockport Heritage Trust used to be key holders for the Stockport Dungeon which is owned by the Guinness Group. 

As we no longer hold the key, we have to apply to be allowed to open it on special occasions and there are no events planned at present.
