Petrol stations told not to fuel teen bikers

PETROL stations in Stockport will receive letters from the council urging staff not to sell fuel to youngsters.
Councillors at the Four Heaton Area Committee earlier this month had called on the authority to carry out test purchases of petrol using undercover teen shoppers, but the council ruled this out on safety grounds.
The bikes particularly aggravate residents in Heaton Mersey as riders often use Heaton Mersey the local common as a makeshift off-road track.
