"Kid's contest to design Stockport's official mug Entry forms are available from schoolsand libraries throughout the borough and need to arrive at Stockport Town Hall by April 28. The winner will see their design featured on an official Stockport mug. And the mugs will be available from Stockport Town Hall and heritage sites across the borough."

"Recycling turns cash into trash" [I think this headline is muddled.] "Thanks to more residents recycling their paper; glass and cans, Stockport Eyeline has received £1,081.08 from the 'Trash into Cash' scheme. The scheme, fuinded by the Department for Food and Rural Affairs, is to encourage people to do more recycling. If the amount of recycling in the borough increases on last year, community groups receive a cash donation."
